Job overview
As the Cybersecurity Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the cybersecurity program of our client. You will lead a dedicated team and collaborate across departments to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information systems. Demonstrating strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices, and the ability to adapt to evolving threats, you will drive the implementation of Cybersecurity policy throughout the Belgian organisation.
Key responsibilities
- You will develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with national and international business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Lead and mentor a team of 8 cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance your team’s skills and knowledge.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses within the organisation’s systems.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address and contain cybersecurity incidents promptly.
- Lead investigations into security incidents and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
- Design and implement robust security architectures for networks, systems, and applications.
- Ensure the integration of security controls into technology solutions.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
- Proven experience in a cybersecurity management role.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and technologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in incident response and forensic analysis.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
